The story of Fox Creek started when a little gathering of doctors and their wives chose to seek after a lifelong passion of making wine from uncovered earth and daylight. At McLaren Vale, one of South Australia's head wine locales they found the earth and it is famous for its Shiraz.
Fox Creek Reserve characterises the best of McLaren Vale with this their lead wine. This is a wine with astonishing profundity and lavishness. Essences of blackberry cassis liquorice and dark chocolate are consolidated in a sense of taste of genuine intensity and many-sided quality.

About the wine: The Reserve Shiraz 1996 is a red wine, made by Fox Creek. Its inception is McLaren Vale in Fleurieu, South Australia, Australia. It is produced using the Shiraz grape. It is created from the 1996 harvest. Solid red-purple, there is masses of effective, gritty shiraz on the bunch and a blend of mint, black cherry and natural varietal fruit on the sense of taste, maintained by solid tannins. The oak impact is unpretentious.
